I have been a practicing psychologist for over 20 years. After completing my BA at Wesleyan University, I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. I moved to the Bay Area for my postdoctoral fellowship in the Stanford Child Psychiatry Clinic and stayed on as an Assistant Clinical Professor until 2010. In my last three years at the Stanford Clinic, I was the Director of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic, where I was able to teach and supervise the residents and fellows. In 2010 I moved into full time private practice.

My doggie Chewbacca usually comes to work with me (when I'm in person). He is a hypoallergenic poodle mix with a very sweet disposition.
